Default Marketing

Yep!! i should be there, giving out boxes of fat to customers who think jack of me and the company.

Just got back home, have the car, have the shopping list, going to pick up the girlfriend and shop!!

Who says Enterprise is hard work, I hear a rumour that a guy from remarketing in my group once took a girl to the zoo for the day instead of marketing.

What a day, and nobody knows

Try it, it averages your hours down to near normal

I would gladly spend the day at the zoo. The creatures there are certainly more civilized than the animals that try to rent from us!

the enterpirse idea of "marketing" is total rubbish, it is no wonder that its employee's would rather go to zoo's / shopping / sleep in lay-by's when they have such an awfull product / company to sell. Enterprise "leaders" (insipid droids) who preach about marketing being important and then provide poor training, no consitency in targets and no follow up should stop wasting their breath.

the trouble with marketing is that you get chucked out into the world of bodyshops/dealerships/corporate accounts without the first damned clue as to what you're on about. i had to take over athe accounts from a guy who'd left for another branch within my first month at erac, and was expected to go to bodyshops and explain to some guy, who's probably heard it a million times, about abi schemes and fleet costings, all of which i havent the faintest clue about. as for dropping donuts etc, its all bollocks. here's what i do. i am meant to do ar's when i get in, so i do a few and put some faked 'left message with x' notes in command 10, call a few accounts and ask abuot service/any questions/ making sure to get their names etc, take off in the car to go marketing, write down a few names of business i know we dont have an account with, go home/return 4 hours later with a good few cold calls done and plenty of service calls.(all of which were done in the confines of the office). i also have a months worth of donuts in my house.
