For those that enjoy working for enterprise, good luck to you and I hope you succeed. However for those that want to get out, my advise is to go to an agency. I spent a lot of time using web sites, like Monster etc, but they dont actually do much. Did get a final interview as a manager with BAA but an agency found me a role as manager in a much better organisation. But more importantly no more SALES = no more bullshit. |

Yes too much pressure for for too little money. That is why I now work for a larger organisation with less pressure and much more money. Now who is the dumb fuck. You or I ? Our survey says --- YOU !!!!!!!!!! My job at enterprise was at times extremely hard, but if all you green blooded monkeys can say is "could'nt hack it" then have you not thought that you are the morons for "hacking it". I now have a senior position, equivalent to a city manager in the ERAC world, have more time for my family and friends and find I have a lot more energy. Agencies are crying out for ex-ERACers as they cannot believe how we were willing to work so many hours for such little money. I am glad that there are complete morons like the guy who challenged me, as he clearly has not worked out his hourly rate. But it also means the decent people have more of a chance of realising that you can only work so long in a reconditioned old petrol station and rent cars. What next you will be sitting in a drive through window writing contracts, having to wear an enterprsie baseball cap and dungarees. Have just completed my report from a recent annual risk management workshop, whilst in the comittee meeting realised that Enterprise do not consider risk as they think they can buy themselves out of everything, however wonder if they can buy themselves out of the heath and safety threads they they will be under soon, enjoyed writing my email to watch dog, also mentioning that they should also check with heath and safety organisations, actually got a responce from them, saying they would look into it. Also cannot believe the poor staff are being made to work on Christmas Eve. |
