Having just left U1, I can safetly say that Chris Adams is a total cock. He must have changed in the trip from U4 to U1. He has made a rule that he now makes every employee that hands his/her notice in work their entire notice period. How stupid is that. Why ? I hear some of say. Because in my case, I worked the entire month, and did absolutely fuck all. I came in at 9.00 every morning and left at 17.00 took a bmw/merc/saab every night. Luckly the staff thatworked for me realised that I was a good manager just was fucked over by ERAC. They would cover for my why I was never in the Office when Chris or my Area manager phoned. Normally the escuse was marketing. Also got even more respect as for the last month I spent more money on T+E then I did for the last 2 years. We even got our regulars to pay in cash so that we had enough money in the cash box to get wasted. What a great 4 weeks. Then my assistant manager would do the cash box after I left so that no-one that still worked there would get the blame. So Chris you could have paid my a months wages and asked me to leave, our as you did make me work, so I could do fuck all, and spend over £2,000 out of the cash box. I did put a little weight on in those 4 weeks, so many steak dinners and kebabs after beers from the cash box, however the free gym that my current company supply has sorted that out.

For those that enjoy working for enterprise, good luck to you and I hope you succeed. However for those that want to get out, my advise is to go to an agency. I spent a lot of time using web sites, like Monster etc, but they dont actually do much. Did get a final interview as a manager with BAA but an agency found me a role as manager in a much better organisation. But more importantly no more SALES = no more bullshit.

Yes too much pressure for for too little money. That is why I now work for a larger organisation with less pressure and much more money. Now who is the dumb fuck. You or I ? Our survey says --- YOU !!!!!!!!!!

My job at enterprise was at times extremely hard, but if all you green blooded monkeys can say is "could'nt hack it" then have you not thought that you are the morons for "hacking it".

I now have a senior position, equivalent to a city manager in the ERAC world, have more time for my family and friends and find I have a lot more energy.

Agencies are crying out for ex-ERACers as they cannot believe how we were willing to work so many hours for such little money.

I am glad that there are complete morons like the guy who challenged me, as he clearly has not worked out his hourly rate. But it also means the decent people have more of a chance of realising that you can only work so long in a reconditioned old petrol station and rent cars.

What next you will be sitting in a drive through window writing contracts, having to wear an enterprsie baseball cap and dungarees.

Have just completed my report from a recent annual risk management workshop, whilst in the comittee meeting realised that Enterprise do not consider risk as they think they can buy themselves out of everything, however wonder if they can buy themselves out of the heath and safety threads they they will be under soon, enjoyed writing my email to watch dog, also mentioning that they should also check with heath and safety organisations, actually got a responce from them, saying they would look into it.

Also cannot believe the poor staff are being made to work on Christmas Eve.

Again too muchwork for far too little money, this sort of role in a Londonorganisation would fetch around £50,000 - £60,000 a year (37-40 hrs per week), what will enterprise pay £30,000 max (50 hours + a week, which we all know means 60-70 hours).

well, you only get 30K MAX as you wont have any real impact, just like u4's last HR manager, you will be igonored, this job is mereley to satisfy uk99, PDF will totally ignore any contribution / advise given to him, oh- the other main role will be to act as a scape goat for U4's poor retention, that way PDF can have someone to blame rather than himself.

good luck!
