Lies told to customers

When I was working at Enterprise, I had to feed a load of bullshit to customers, why there was no car, or why they were not going to get a car today, here are some of my favourite, does anyone have anymore cracking ones ?

1. I am so sorry the trailer of new cars, I was having delivered, has just had a crash on the M25, an emergency delivery is on its way but won't be with me till the morning, want time can I pick you up (or what time can you walk into me) ?

2. The car we had for you has just come back but the last customer had had an accident in it, you safety is my main concern, can I pick you up in the morn ?

3. I'm sorry my new trainee, has made a mistake he/she thought you wanted the car for next friday not this friday. Maybe you should try Hertz.

4. Sorry we do not have a resewrvation for you (as I am rapidly deleting the customers reservation).

5. Sorry your credit card has been declined (clearly had not though)


Enterprise taught me how to bullystaff and lie. Wonder how upper management feel when they realise that is all they are good for.

I have been involved in more management course in my last 4 months, than my entire career with enterprise.

The seicento is the basic car, you can have that [even though it is unrentable] or you can have a Vectra for £20 a day.

The seicento we have is just having petrol put in it, the Vectra looks good though - how about £15 a day?
