| From looking at this Website, Enterprise clearly doesn't sound like the company it claims to be - although I've only had a quick look through these postings. I am due for a telephone interview for a management trainee job in Enterprise next week. What I'd really like to know is, are the people on this website a small percentage of past and present employees of Enterprise, or are the feelings shown (i.e. Enterprise is crap) a general consensus across the whole of the UK? By reading Enterprise's own website, they certainly sell the job well (obviously they would though) I was just wondering if these postings were from disgruntled ex employees or that it is actually not recommended to apply for a job here. Plus, it doesn't sound like there is much male talent in any of the stores!! Thanks |

The postings on here are true, the company is god awful to work for, particularly in rental, admin isn't that great either. You WILL be forced to work 55-60 hours a week for uncompetitive pay. you WILL be lead to believe your career is going somewhere and a promotion is in sight, then someone else gets it. Any successes won't really be recognised, unless it makes your bosses a heap of money, but any mistakes, however small, will be blown out of all proportion. I have nothing against American people, just American companies. they are all the same and treat their employess very badly. My wife worked for Capital One, who treat their employess equally bad. Like I said mate, I'm long out of it so am not bitter anymore, it's up to you to believe me or not. Do yourself a favour and don't listen to the bullshit that is spouted by them & steer well clear. There are much better jobs around as the majority of leavers have found out. Trust me & good luck. |

Enterprise is a crap job with one redeeming feature. It is possible, at a slim chance (and we're talking lottery here) to make a lot of money if you're not very bright. At any other decent company you can make decent money if you work hard, keep your nose clean and generally are a hard working intelligent individual. If you are a crass oaf whose idea of sophistication is alloy wheels then you will not. However you may suceed at Enterprise. So if you don't have the self-belief that you can make it in a company of intelligent people whose professionalism is respected by their colleague and business partners, then Enterprise is your best shot at making big money. Cheers |
