Here's this interesting difference between British and American English. In that sentence you treat Enterprise as plural, but in the U.S. we treat it as singular. I'd say "Enterprise is providing cars..."

Your version sounds very weird to my American ears, just as, I suspect, our version sounds weird to yours.

Anybody got any thoughts or observations on this? Are there any other grammatical differences between us, and not just vocabulary?

(By the way, as I hope you've all figured out by now, I'm definitely not trying to find things that divide us; I'm just a bit of a language maven)
