Hello My U.K. Friends, The U.K. forum now has 4,200+ posts in it, which is huge. I initially made all of the U.K. a single forum because someone asked me to, explaining that the groups are small and that people often move from group to group. By doing a search for the various group numbers, it's pretty clear that some of the groups (U1, U4, and U8?) already have the critical mass to become their own forums, and maybe if we separated things out for the other groups they'd catch up soon. (We could probably also have a special "PDF" forum, but don't get me started.) Unlike at Enterprise, I'm here to figure out what my customers want and then give it to them. Which would you prefer? Should some or all of the U.K. groups have their own forum? Would it look stupid to have separate forums for a few groups but then have a catch-all for the rest? What would you like to see? If you'll tell me what you want, you can probably have it. Admin __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. A seperate forum for each group would be great, it would also make it quicker to veiw a specific topic faster. I personaly would recommend a "bitiching forum" this way all the nasty comments, even though true, can be kept in one place. With regard to the separate forum on "PDF" i think would be a waste of time, as there is rumours he wont be in the UK for much longer. Many thanks for your continued assistance, i am sure you will work your magic as always. "From Agony Uncle to Paul Daniels" Your the man that can !

It seems the U2 group have no spine, you never hear from those weak bunch....Altman has them scared not to go on this site...the U2 group has probably the most weak and insecure people, so no point setting one up for U2....

OK, I've done it. Tell me how you like it and how I can make it better. Admin __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. The best way to predict the future is to invent it." -- Alan Kay

Also, if you could give me the "user-friendly" geographic names for each UK group, I'd add them to the forum titles. I'm thinking of names like "London", "Birmingham", "Midlands" or whatever. What are the "names" of these groups? __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. The best way to predict the future is to invent it." -- Alan Kay

try again - its true about u2 employees you know. its impossible to get on this site and make yourself known just in case someone finds out. it is only because most of the stuff is true you know.i have friends who went to erac after uni because they were offered 'great' jobs but now theyre stuck working 50+ hours a week whilst im doing 9-5 with weekends off too. the stuff they tellme is so funny and sometimes quite worrying. the mission statement is a load of b@lls too - balancing work and life, what a joke! they got told that the company values employee happiness above profits, but by the sounds of it theres only 2 or 3 branches in u2 that ever make any money. under 20k for a branch managers position with no hope of comission. i dont think so. the good thing is as others have said, is that my friends found it quite easy to get other jobs once they discovered the true nature of erac. they worked in numerous branches in the westmidlands in their time and although a lot of the trainees there were great people, its those in area manager position and above tha make the job impossible. ifyou dont live eat and breathe green then you might as wekk work in tesco stacking shelves. you'd probably make more money! the drivers at some branches earn more than the trainees do and thats just taking the p!ss!!!!!!!

I disagree with the statement about Area Managers making life impossible. It comes from one man - Altman. He is the reason that people leave - simple as. The same issues that are frequently recounted about PDF are worse in U2. There are two reasons that there are less examples of it on this forum. The first being Altman is obviously sneakier (I would say more clever but as the great man himself often says "hey I aint the sharpest tool in the box!" tool yes - sharp no!) than the likes of PDF and also that there is a culture of fear in U2.
