What was the message ? Was it some sort of message telling staff, sorry trying to make staff beleive that they are not a tight company

Basically a message went out on the branch managers distribution list, and some people kept hitting reply to all. A lot were saying "Take me off this list" - which just added more messages to it. Amusing insofar as there are some seriously thick people out there, who by gtting annoyed about the message kept it going for about 400 emails.
