As a ex-intern at U6, I’ve spent my final year at Uni telling anyone with the any interest (no matter how small) in joining the ERAC Grad scheme, exactly what type of environment they would “thrive in” (ERAC, 2007 Website).
As you can probably expect, my review hasn’t been favorable with key phrases such;
Managerial C**TS and Lunch breaks/Holiday; you’ll be F**king Lucky.
Now, I am not going to declare that my social circle is large enough to challenge the marketing efforts of ERAC in reaching potential graduates. However, I like to think I have done my bit in making sure that students such as my self, will never fall into the trap of expecting anything but terrible working conditions and £16,000 for a 60 hour week from ERAC.

I hope posting this message will continue the effort to reduce the no. of students mistakingly thinking the grad scheme is anything other than a complete waste of time.

what amazes me is that most people at erac clearly have a brain, can't understand how so many grads have fallen into the trap.

the whole system is a complete joke, any dickhead can see that ?

I have just interviewed and hired a guy for my team. He mentioned that he went for a 'group' day at Enterprise, and realised that the company was a joke within an hour, he said that he worked out that he could earn more money washing dishes at a local restaurant. He is a great worker and is so much suited for the public sector rather than the slave driving rent a shitty car sector.
