Default UK admin salaries

Does anyone have any idea how much a BM transferring to admin can expect to earn in the UK? How does salary vary across admin departments?

Come to that, anyone know much about US admin salaries? E.g. Remarketing/Loss Control/VR/HR/Traffic?

Loss Control Admin starts off at $2200/month.

Good news: 40 hours a week plus an hour lunch each day, plus approved overtime (rare)

I started at this salary, and got increases of about 2% each annual review- topped out at around $30K/year after 3 1/2 years.

I was making about the same as I did in rental when I switched to LC- but worked about 10-15 hours less per week.

Yeh.......peanuts............

Depends on what your boss is like........if they are like mine, they screw you to the bone, dont reward hard work, and generaly expect you to perform above the odds all the time for nothing.

Usualy if you are on commision you will get a tide over sum, depending on your position you will then either be on an inflated basic, or your original BM basic plus a percentage of Group operating proffit. usualy starting off at 1/4 of a percent. Rising on review...........if your lucky......

Welcome to the peanut feeder.................

I heard Vehicle Repair salaries are decent and the job is good-an opportunity to be on the other side of the counter. Any VR experience on this board?

VR was the most miserable department in Admin. You had 3 guys in charge of the entire region. Now I worked in accounting and VR had to approve all the maint and repair bills before we could pay them. Usually they were at least 2 months behind, they are burnt out and very unhappy. Good luck if you would like to do that.

VR, the most stressed out department at ADMIN. We have 3 coordinators for our ENTIRE group and their supervisor who is a complete clown that cant even control his own department. Good luck if you chose that path!
