NOT JUST MAJOR RECALLS NEEDED....
LOFRs are out of control in group 36 with a few branches including the prized airport locations needing 50+% LOFR attention. If it takes someone to die before they service their cars timely please let it be wayne tanaka, GM of group 36 and not an innocent paying customer.
LOFR= lube, oil, filter, and rotation.

20% ???Your uneducated idiots. I'd post the actual spreadsheet if it were not confidential info. Since the advent of RPM, the majority of our Groups and Regions have recall percentages well below 1%. We are so dedicated to maintain a safe fleet that we upload the vin's to automanufactures so their computers can search all the Vins in RALPH and activate all units that have outstanding recalls.

Futhermore, we do not have a budget when it comes to maintaining our vehicles- The primary goal is SAFETY and timliness of repairs. Cost control is important but it is at the bottom of our priority list.

Please do not comment on that which you do not understand. I really doubt that any of you are or were ever in VR.

The primary maintenance issues that arise are usually due to ABM's and BRM's just rolling the deal and figuring they would just deal with the problem if it arises.

I presonally am very confident with the condition of the fleet in my group and am PROUD TO BE A ERAC VRM.

enterprise rent a car has 20% of the nation fleet needing recall. meaning that branches are renting cars with break leaks, and so on. pt cruiser have major recalls nobody listen to moms and daughter and father outthere

now who is going to let these major network know?

He may have been right but what was not taken into account is that at the end of June chrysler sent out a major recall on a lot of their vehicles. It takes a bit of time to process that many cars through. Also most of them weren't priority recalls meaning safety issues.

Guess what? I was trained to LIE and DECIEVE customers about condition of rentals. I knowingly put customers lives at risk just so upper management could make a buck.

If you think I'm just an isolated example, you're kidding yourself.

I was told to roll this car and that as well. Difference was I have the personal integrity to say no. Yeah I got some heat for it, even threats, but what are they really going to do fire me? Talk about a lawsuit. Fired for refusing to put my customer in danger. I would have been a millionaire

Sorry Admin, I was not an english major. I was simply referring to the FACT they they are making uneducated posts reguarding the condition of our fleet. I see the numbers daily and as a company we are not even 1/10th what the subject line describes. Unfortunatly like every company we are only as good as our weakest link, in our case the employee at the rental counter. Many of these weak links are now posters to this site as they could not maintain the business ethics and good judgement required to be a star at ERAC.

I work in GRP 15 at easily the the biggest branch outside of the airports. We are fanatical regarding LOFRs. We do a bare minimum of 6 per day in a fleet around 265-300. I'm not an ERAC slave, I've seen bullshit and perpertrated bullshit, but we are always on point as far as maintenence. i can't speak for the entire U.S., group, region or area, but we've got our collective shit together on this. Nobody here disconnects batteries to make the bad lights go away, as I've seen in other offices. We just get'em done. However WTF is wrong with Nissans this year? Altimas specifically...they burn oil like a junkie without a fix. We gotta keep them up and running, they're the fave of ghetto clientle. Everyone needs a bedroom on wheels, gots to get fucked up on blunts, eat some MacD's, rip part of some trick's weave out and Newport the car out. Jus' leave all de evidence inside and ask for a switch out. Which we give no questions asked, cuz we forgot to write anything about smoking or detail fees, or note that shit on the contract.
