I am a 23 year old female who was left stranded in a bad part of Memphis on the side of the interstate for hours. The car had no interior lights(could not see anything on the dashboard) and then the tire blew out. The employee's at ERAC were so rude to me it was unbelievable. I will post my story later on the web. I do not have time right now. Anyways, I think this is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my whole life. Everyone that I have told my full story to have said that they have never heard anything like it. |
Yup, I believe it. I am a female in my thirties and had horrid expereince with Enterprise and I am a former employee!! I purchased a car from ERAC in their Rialto office in So. Calif. I had the car for four months and noticed that the paint was cracking off the bumper. I called them and the finance mgr., Daniel, with no people skills or customer service experience made me do the footwork. He had ME call the place that orginally repainted the OX, and then Loss Control, and Remarketing because he did not want to assist me. He tried to get out of paying for it when all the other departments insisted it was a Car Sale issue and they needed to take care of it. He was rude on the phone and I told him that I worked in Car Sales for over four years and I always took care of my customers for such issues. This is not the first time I have seen a car retouched for scratches and the paint came off months later. My group we redid the work. I had to drive from San Francisco to get to the office and he made an appointment for me to come in. I get to the Rialto office and the Recon center in the back didn't know I was coming. It turns out they would have to keep the car overnight. I asked if they were going to pay for my rental and their response "We have to watch our pennies." That was it. Idiots that they are, they left me to wander the car sale lot and talk with customers who also had issues. We shared our stories and their customer service experience treatment and the bedside manner of the employees. I was treated as if I had leporsy and complete rudeness. The other customers who were getting their cars painted got rental cars. When I went to the rental office and told them my story..even they could not believe that I was paying for a rental car. They could be rude to me because I was a former employee, but I am still a customer!! The whole ironic thing was that when I came to my parent's house in So. California the ESQI letter that was sent to ask me how my car sale experience was mailed to their house. In car sales everyone who buys a car gets an ESQI letter and if the first box is not checked "completely satisfied" they get DINGED!!! I am sending it out and along with a copy of the complaint letter I filed with the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Automotive Repair.
My suggestion is find out the Dept of Consumer Affairs in Tennessee. Also, pray that you get the phone call and tell them you were not completely satisfied.
