Does Enterprise pay Unemployment?

It's funny reading all these posts in these forums about getting fired and managers threatening termination to employees because in my region/group, no one ever gets fired. Branch/Asst. managers in my region have stolen money, given free rentals to friends, forged signatures on rental contracts, signed on DW after damaged happen; they have all been found out buy admin and none of them were ever fired. It is heavily rumored in my region that if admin really wants to fire you they will force you to quit (don't ask me how). Everyone thinks this because Enterprise is too damn cheap to pay unemployment (which makes tons of sense because ERAC is the cheapest company in the world). I would loved to get fired by this company so I could collect unemployment, but will they fire me? Short of punching a customer in the mouth or showing up to work plastered, what can I do to get fired?

Just quit. If ERAC are asked for a reference from potential new employers they will say they wont reemploy you which cause an incredible amount of grief.

Resign with a letter stating you are willing to work your notice and they have to pay you until the en of that month. Quit early May and they'll probably send you on Garden leave after a couple of days on full pay

My leaving of ERAC was a little different, I had been fed up with the accounting dept and interviewing like crazy. Of course I shared this with some of my admin co-workers, slight mistake. My Controller pulled me in heard what I was doing and gave me 2 options, either he will pay me for 2 weeks and leave that day, or I can stay and probably be fired for poor work attitude ie telling people that I wanted to leave. Mind you this was like right in the middle of the month, and I was in accounting, so we were working on bank rec's, schedules, and reports from the close. I managed to negotiate me staying there for 2 weeks, burning the rest of my choice days interviewing, then after I left they payed me out 2 weeks, plus another week and a half vacation. So when I left ERAC I was in a new job and getting paid by ERAC for 3 weeks. A very very great thing.

Mine was a little different, they told me that I had the option to quit and use them as a reference and they would give me a good recommendation or be fired and they would make something up. Me and my ARM didn't get along at all. So, to me, ERAC is cheap and will do anything to not pay for unemployment.

Cheap doesn't even begin to describe it. I know people who ERAC has fought thier unemployment because they are already paying other claims. Way to send someone to the poorhouse because you are trying to save face. I'm sure ERAC will get thiers though.....

Find out how strict your group is on driver's licenses, and have a couple of minor OX's or get a traffic ticket. If your record is bad enough, they might fire you.

They fought my unemployment. They won the first round due to lies and not providing me the information requested on the supeonas I submitted. I didn't have the information needed. I appealed and won they tryed fighting it but it didn't work. I had the worst attitude on the planet. I showed up when I wanted. I didn't care my last year. I came to Enterprise a little older than most. I had made a ton of money in the stock market. I bought my house with cash. I was just looking for something to do and to provide me benefits. When little shit bags started yelling at me I told them to go F themselves. I loved how these people use to chuck eachother under the bus. These kids thought they were the shit when they put their ties on every morning. I laughed my ass off every day at them. I got my unemployment just to spite them and it worked. Since it was so long I got a lump sum and went out and bought a new 60" plasma with the money. Thanks ERAC :)

well mister if you are as rich as you say you made a ton of money in the stock market then why bother to take a job at all, why not just be a bum like you already are..big deal about a plasma so what is your point you are lazy and stupid anyways how much did you make evidently not enough if you need a welfare check
